INENA/IL APCO Town Hall Meeting
Date: June 10, 2025
Time: 08:00AM- 09:30AM
Location: Virtual
Dear INENA and IL APCO Members,
The INENA and IL APCO Joint Legislative Committee will be hosting a Town Hall to address two new legislative bills recently introduced in the House and Senate. These bills, introduced at our request, are key to advancing efforts to increase the 9-1-1 surcharge and support the long-term sustainability of our emergency communications systems.
The June 10th Town Hall will provide an opportunity to discuss a coordinated approach to communicating with your local legislators. We will also be sharing an updated version of the existing one-page document for members to use in those conversations.
Please note: due to the fluid nature of the legislative process, additional updates or direction may be issued prior to the meeting. We strongly encourage all members to stay informed by monitoring INENA communications, PSConnect, and our social media channels for the most current information.
Thank you for your continued engagement and support as we work together to ensure a unified and effective response.
