NENA Goes to Washington will take place February 22–25, 2026, bringing 9-1-1 professionals from across the country to Washington, D.C., to engage with policymakers, advocate for the 9-1-1 community, and help shape legislation impacting emergency communications.
We encourage all interested members to participate in this important opportunity to have their voices heard at the national level.

State Captain Coordination:
If you plan to attend, please notify John Ferraro, INENA President, as we will need to identify and designate a State Captain to represent Illinois’ delegation.
State Captain responsibilities include:
Providing input to help shape NENA Goes to Washington programming.
Assisting with the coordination of Congressional meeting requests for the state delegation.
Organizing and coordinating members of the state delegation.
Serving as the primary point of contact between the state delegation and NENA.
Welcoming and supporting first-time attendees from Illinios.
